The Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA) invites applications for the prestigious Dr. Yellapragada Subbarow FABA Award for Doctoral Students” in Life Sciences. This award stands as a mark of excellence for outstanding doctoral students who excelled in their scientific work with the potential for significant societal impact. We encourage applications that demonstrate basic and applied research with the potential or demonstrated utility for addressing unmet needs, as evidenced by peer-reviewed scientific publications, patents, or feasibility product studies.

Who Can Nominate?

  • Peer Nominations: Professors, colleagues, and research institutions are invited to nominate doctoral students whose scientific innovations have the potential to make a significant impact in the life sciences sector.
  • Self-Nominations: Motivated doctoral students, are encouraged to nominate themselves if they are pioneering significant advancements in their fields.

Qualification

Students pursuing Ph.D. or those who have submitted their thesis or those who received Ph.D. award (not later than 6 months) are eligible to apply.
