The position involves the synthesis of nanomaterials, 3D modeling, fabrication of microfluidic devices, along with culturing oral cancer spheroids for experimental studies. The candidate is expected to integrate engineering and biological approaches for lab-on-chip device development. The selected candidates shall register for the PhD degree at IIITDM Kancheepuram as per the Institute’s norms.

Age limit: 35 years as on the Last date of receiving the application (Age relaxation is applicable as per GoI norms).

The post is purely on a contractual basis for 1 year. May be extended for 2 years.

First Class ME/M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering/​Biotechnology/​Mechanical engineering/​Electrical Engineering /​Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering /​Instrumentation Engineering / Nanotechnology and related branches of engineering from a reputed university/​college with a good academic record.

Strong background in nanomaterial synthesis and characterization techniques; bioconjugation techniques; Proficiency in microfluidic device design and fabrication, and Fluid Mechanics.
