Online applications (through email) are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow, purely on contractual basis in the extramural research project sanctioned for up to 3 years from Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India (No 54/14/2025-BRNS/395, dated 25.08.2025), under Dr. Subash Chandra Gupta, Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry, AIIMS Guwahati. 

The project is sanctioned up to three years. The appointment will be on temporary basis for a period of one year. Based on the performance in first year, the appointment could be extended till the end of the project.

Rs. 37,000/- per month for the first two years and Rs. 42,000/- per month in the third year.

Postgraduate degree (with minimum 55% marks) including the integrated PG degrees in Biochemistry/​Biotechnology/​Biological Sciences or a related discipline.
