The Young Investigators’ Meeting (YIM) is an annual gathering that brings together exceptional young investigators, senior scientists, institutional leaders, and representatives from funding agencies to exchange ideas and foster mentorship, collaboration, and networking in the life sciences.

YIM 2026 will feature an engaging line-up of activities, including mentor talks by leading scientists, special talks across diverse research areas, poster presentations, panel and roundtable discussions, mini-workshops, and dedicated mentorship and networking sessions. Covering a wide spectrum of themes, the programme will explore building and sustaining independent research careers in India, evolving perspectives on science funding, international funding opportunities for Indian life scientists, industry – academia collaborations, and a focused session on effective grant writing.
